My dad (RIP) hated the nickname of Mike and my mom always wanted a child named Michael so she had to promise that she would make sure that people called me Michael.
I tried going by Mike when I was in junior high school but just the sound of it is like finger nails on a chalk board.
What really ****es me off is the people that I correct over and over again and they still call me Mike.
ok I need to stop typing that nick name I am starting to **** myself off

Bobby and my next 2 initials, nice and boring!
However along Roberto's experience I am NOT a Robert!! and will not respond to it.
My older brother didn't want any more babies in the family( 2boys then 2 girls)
som i had to be a boy named after his best friend Bobby(Robert like my grandfather) but when it came birth certificate time is was Bobby. I always got school papers made out to Robert and finally got it changed my senior year. when teachers called me Robert i ignored them.
nowadays i tell people it's really Bobby and forgive them calling me robert only ONCE! after that i ignore them.
