Why would Batman wear a rubber suit ?

Wouldn't he get a rash really fast after doing all his fighting ?

If I wore that suit for more than 5 minutes, i'd be scratching my nuts constantly.

Built up sweat and nuts don't go together ........

If he's so smart, why hasn't he figured this out yet ?

I think Batman would pull out one of his Silver Age "yellow" costumes and procede to kick Hal's keister.

As he did recently in Miller's Batman and Robin title. "The Bat" decked out a room entirely in yellow, including himself and sat drinking lemonaide while commenting to Hal how stupid a weakness all things yellow was. Then proceeded to sick Robin on him who about killed Hal just to show that without the ring, Hal's a wuss. (Hey, that's Batman talking, not me)

What's up Mike? You've been trying real hard to get some arguments going by taking things you know most people like and cutting them down to get folks all wound up. Makes you look like a cranky old fart! I think you need to watch the '89 Batman flick while listening to Queen's Greatest Hits and relax.

That alone is laughable

The movie is expected to cross $300 million after tomorrow night. You might want to ask those ticket buyers what they think. As far as hype, what I AM sick of is this insane fight for the less-than-okay six inch Joker figure Mattel put out. A new $10 figure consistantly selling for $30 - $60 on Ebay? Now THAT is nonsense. I got the 13 inch DC Direct Joker (before the movie opened) which IS limited edition and one worth much more than the hype surrounding this six inch piece of...eh...poorly concieved plastic.

I agree with the serious overkill going on, but it's well deserved right now I think.

Yes, and some would say that at this moment BATMAN is doing better than
he ever has been---and possibly better than any other superhero to boot.

For instance when Hal Jordan jacked Batman and knocked him on his ***. Some writer got ****ed off and when it was his turn to write the story, he had Batman "get even with Hal" by jacking him in the face.

In truth, Hal would stuff Batman head first in a green mail book and leave his *** hanging out so he could kick it over and over.

The newest movies are better than the franchise started by Burton, but I've yet to see a Batman film that lived up to my hopes.

Just be glad that we're not living in 1966-style full-on Batmania!
