A quick way of commenting on this is that I like Burton's overall style and
enjoyed it thru the first two Bat-movies.
The Schumacher movies lacked any texture the Burton movies had.
Don't get me wrong ---the Burton movies were TOTALLY whimsical
and surreal---unlike the Nolan flicks which take on the awesome challenge
of bringing Batman "down to Earth" (in a big way) so-to-speak
----but Burton's JOKER looking to create "living art"---Burton's PENGUIN'S search for
his parents that actually resulted in a "mass killing" plan of Gotham's children.
Schumacher's films didn't even come close to having those sly details
that made the Burton films unique.
