Thanks! I would love to see anything! I have an attachment to Nightmare Before Christmas, but not enough money to play in that sandbox unfortunately. I also have a tree that is supposed to be from it as well, but can't confirm it.

Crazy as it sounds, years ago, Disney had original props and set pieces on display at Hollywood Studios, in their backlot tour, and when the time was done to rotate something else in, they chucked most of it into dumpsters. A lot of the christmas town sets and "real" town sets were just thrown away. Some people started dumpster diving back then grabbing stuff.

    I like this idea!

Well this is my "platform" it seems so #ToyVember

This are sort of toys/collectables to me, but aren't toys in most terms. These are original Nightmare Before Christmas props. I've had them a number of years and are screen used. The guillotine is animated during the "Making Christmas" montage, and actually does move up and down. The green present is to the right of the Christmas tree when Jack is trying to explain Christmas to the Halloweentown residents on stage. The pumpkin I've never been able to find, but matches some others I've seen.

    LJN plush Snarf for #ToyVember.

    snarf.JPG

Got him around 85 or 86 at Toys R Us. I was surprised to find him. I had no idea he existed. The plush Snarf was not shown on any of the card backs or booklets. I know it's gotten popular over the years to hate characters like Snarf, Kowl and Orko but I don't care. I still love them. I even kept his box all these years.

    ToyVember Challenge Day 2:
Kenner Tusken Raider. I've had this one since childhood; my parents brought it back from CDN Toy Fair in 1978. He's one of my favourites and as you can tell, he's seen combat. #ToyVember

ToyVember challenge- Post a toy from your collection daily, and tell a story about it.

I'm going to post a random toy from my collection every day this month in an event I call "ToyVember" which is in no way connected to "Toyotathon." Here we go with entry #1, Mattel's Pulsar or, as my daughter dubbed him,

    "Gross-Man." #ToyVember
