ToyVember Challenge Day 16- Ben Cooper Land of the Lost Sleestak Jiggler

I have a lifelong obsession with Sleestaks; part of our love of monsters is owning our fears.

ToyVember challenge- Post a toy from your collection daily, and tell a story about it.

    Ahh... Dinky Space 1999....

Not too much to say about these, but I've had them for several years and do love them and think they are very neato.

ToyVember Challenge Day 14- Palitoy Captain Zantor figure from Space:1999

I got this figure in a trade in 1985; I didn't know it was a Mego! My mind was racing as to the other Mego figures that could be out there, and well, here we are.

ToyVember challenge- Post a toy from your collection daily, and tell a story about it.

Captain Radar Self Walking Space Man

Found this guy at a little Collectibles Shop in Burbank. Bought him thinking it was a Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon toy. I found a pic of the instructions on the back of the Header Card. Think it's from the 50's. He's supposed to be tethered to a weight, which is missing on mine.

Going back to the Green Lantern TAS lost toys:

Since my Sister-in-law is from the Philippian, my brother had the in-laws get the Jollibee's kids meal Green Lantern TAS figure for my Christmas present.

I have a real love for the original 1979 Alien movie, and the items that came out during that time.

Here's two item... The Thinking Cap Company hat was a mail in item, you'd see these advertisements in magazines like Starlog back in the day.

The egg puzzle was by HG Toys, I don't have a loose one, but the packaging I thought was cool on these.

Two of my earliest toy memories were of Zeroids from Ideal and these little Astronauts. I was too young to fully appreciate the Zeroids, but I just loved the Astronauts with their removable gear and helmets.

This one is special because it reminds me of the fun trip we took to Portland, Oregon in 2015. My Wife and I officially became Foodies after sampling their unique restaurants.

Thanks for posting that-I've seen the type of outfit your ape is wearing on the packaging of the Action Apeman, but this is the first time I ever seen an actual (physical) example. Very cool.

Mattel Spectra from 1986 for #ToyVember.

The Spectra dolls were a line of alien fashion dolls created by Mattel which I think were aimed to compete with the more colorful Jem dolls. Super articulated dolls for the time. The bodies were also all done in different beautiful colored chromes. Sadly, I don't have the shoes anymore they shrunk and cracked apart with age.

LJN Thundercats Astral Moat Monster from 1985 for #ToyVember.

    ljnmoat.JPG

Maybe kind of an odd choice for a figure since it was only in one episode. It was kind of an evil frog/duck thing that lived in the Astral plane. The Moat Monster was an oversized figure that had no action feature unlike the majority of Thundercats figures and toys. Made out of soft Rotocast vinyl except for his wings and feet which were hard plastic.

For my 10th birthday I got these two iconic figures out of the Kenner 12" Star Wars line. Darth Vader and Boba Fett.

Both of these are all original and have all of their accessories. I picked up vintage boxes for them later in my collecting career. I ended up getting all of the 12" line boxed later in life(including IG88) but sold all of them but these two that I had since new. I picked up a loose C3PO and R2D2 and loosed complete IG88 which I still have as well.

Honestly Kenner killed it with this figure line, they were very nice and good selection of figures.

I absolutely love these, I remember them but never got any, I wasn’t very big into the 12 inch line, thanks for sharing.
