Did you ever go camping ?

Not including me and my older bro staying up all night eel fishing in the local crick I've never officially went camping.

Always watch camping videos on youtube --- especially videos about tents and accessories ...

Today i'm too old but it's something I wish I had done in my youth

You are never too old to go camping! I went as a kid, my wife and I went before we got married, and we went several times as my kids were growing up.

I remember as a kid my best friend and I got our parents permission to ride out bikes several miles out of town to a state park and camped overnight. If I remember correctly, one of our parents drove out there to check up on us (maybe they brought the tent so we didn't have to carry it), but otherwise we were on our own. It was a different time as I don't think any parent would let their kids do that now.

camping was pretty much the only family vacations we did growing up. my parents had a pop up camper and would pack all 5 kids up, and go camping on pretty much every holiday weekend from May through September. as an adult it has never much interested me. too much work for such short stays

As a kid, we "camped out" in a tent in the backyard.

I only went on one "real" camping trip (as in at a state park) and that was as an adult. Probably happened to some of you as well, but this camping trip wasn't the best because it rained off 'n on all weekend.

Went camping a few times as a teen in our church versions of Boy Scouts in both the Royal Rangers and Royal Ambassadors for people who found the Boy Scouts a little too Liberal. Then a few times with my son when he was in Cub Scouts. Never anything too outdoorsy in Boy Scout parks and such but it was still ok.
