    Julian Sands R.I.P.

He went missing while hiking in the San Gabriel Mountains back in January, and his body has finally been found and formally identified.
A consistently entertaining actor, with many great roles and performances over the years.
I'll always remember him best for his portrayal of the villainous titular character in "Warlock" (1989).

The 65-year-old went missing in snow-covered mountains north of Los Angeles more than five months ago.

I now recognize him. I remember him from the Arachnophobia movie as well.

I've ridden many a bike trail in the San Gabriel Mountains. Very sad news. Last time I saw him was in Naked Lunch.
You are transparent; I see many things... I see plans within plans.

Yeah, sad. At least his family can really celebrate his accomplishments and move on with their lives. Better knowing than never knowing.

Very sad end to that story. I remember him from Warlock and several other projects, like the troubled Boxing Helena. He brought a gravitas to low-budget productions that made them feel much bigger. He also played Jor-El in flashbacks on Smallville.
