So I just heard news that Warner Brothers is merging with Cartoon Network, and laying off swathes of their animators. Wasn't sure where to post this so I just put it in General.

We've been talking about this over in the Batgirl movie being cancelled thread. It seems like the Discovery folks have ended up with more sway in this merger. The new CEO portended this in his early statements. Personally, I see the savings cutting a lot of the Warner and HBO original material, but I think it is very short-sighted, profit wise.
