What's up with Brit's hating root beer ?

Just watched a whole bunch of YouTube video's saying how much Brit's despise the taste of root beer---+++(birch beer)

Have you ever had a hotdog with a root beer chaser ?

Round these parts, a proper Hot dog consists of a dog (fried in peanut oil) served with FRESH chopped onions, yellow mustard (brown ok) and a pickle slice (could be Kosher garlic or sweet bread-and-butter style too)

With a side of root beer

I grew up with root beer in Canada and always loved it. When we moved to the UK in the 80s it wasn't easy to find at first, but these days it's a lot more common.

I buy bottles of American style root beer, as British root beer is more like straight sarsaparilla.

There's also a UK soft drink called "dandelion and burdock", which is awesome.

I think root beer goes best with some vanilla ice cream in it. Or to wash down some pizza. Maybe they don't like pizza and ice cream either?
