    Loretta Lynn RIP

The "First Lady of Country & Western " has died. What a voice! Loretta was such a classy lady -- and had a booming and magnificent voice! I always loved the song Coal Miner's Daughter. Even more, I loved the movie! Tommy Lee Jones was fantastic! Sissy Spacek won the Academy Award for Best Actress (deservedly so). To say I was a fan of Loretta would be an understatement. While I am NOT a huge fan of contemporary Country & Western music, she was old-school -- and just fantastic! Her voice, so distinctive, will never be forgotten! Loretta was 90.

Rest in Peace, dear Loretta. Now your voice will be gracing Heaven above along Patsy, Tammy, Hank, George, and Merle.

Actually The First Lady of C&W left this world almost 25 years ago. Tammy Wynette, once Mrs. George Jones, was nicknamed that way.

Her work with Conway Twitty was second to none. You can tell they had good chemistry
