You are one of my all time favorite posters, but to tell you the truth, we almost don't agree on anything...here's another example.

Iron-Man was good, but it was still a bit cartoony and kiddie for me...Dark Knight is just miles ahead in the adult-oriented department...it really doesn't feel like a comic book flick, it's more like a realistic crime-drama...I'm sorry, but Dark Knight is a masterpiece...Iron-Man is not. However having said that...I have my doubts Dark Knight reaching the $300 million plus domestic box office take Iron-Man achieved...simply because Iron-Man probably has more kiddie appeal. I think this movie is so good in fact...that I'm already predicting an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture...and Heath Ledger being nominated for Best Supporting Actor (and has a solid chance of winning ). We should all thank Christopher Nolan for being the genius that he is, I knew he was something special when he directed Memento...that's one visionary director...he makes Tim Burton look ordinary.

Dark Knight is the BEST damn superhero movie EVER made...bar none.

I never even saw Ledger in this movie...it was the Joker the whole time. He was amazing. The movie kept me guessing, I never knew how it was going to end. The Joker is intense, and intelligent, and scary as heck on a real level. Not freddy Krueger scary, but too smart and too far ahead of the law scary. This is a Fantastic movie and one I can't wait to see again...maybe this weekend. I never see a movie twice in the theatres. Its going to be a looooong expectant wait for the next one. With out Ledger it will be tough to compare. He deserves the Oscar for his work. I hope he gets it.

I enjoyed the movie and am not a Ledger fan but that was an oscar performance. Two Face was excellent also.

I saw the Dark Knight @ Rave Motion Pictures in Chattanooga TN (East Ridge) at midnight last night and I must say as a comic book geek, here is my review, spoiler free.

The Dark Knight is not only the ultimate comic book adapted movie, it is not only the ultimate crime drama movie, it is not only the ultimate psychodrama movie, and it is not only the ultimate Batman movie. TDK is all of them rolled into one. It is the Ultimate Movie Period!!

All the established cast of actors did outstanding jobs. In particular, I was really impressed with Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two Face in both parts of his persoanlity. The studio did right hiding what Two Face looks like, so if you want to know, go see it. And as far as I'm concerned, the late Heath Ledger truly went out in a blaze of glory with his stand alone performance as the Joker. He truly deserves a posthumus Oscar Nomination. And as always, Christian Bale once again proves he is the best Batman. And with Bruce living in a Penthouse with a secret workshop for Batman reminds me not only of the Batman stories of the 1970's comics, but also the Mego Wayne Foundation Playset I had when I was 6 years old.
Everything about this movie was spectacular. I not only recommend one viewing, but more than one, it's that good!!!
    Cheers.

It is truly an awesome movie. All those things we say would make a superhero movie better (staying true to the characters, not letting the action overshadow everything)? This movie is right on target.

Stellar performances by all the cast. And yes, Heath Ledger gives a legendary performance. You can see the underpinnings of the Killing Joke in this movie and Ledger digs into all the potential the Joker has as a character.

Just a brilliant, brilliant film. I plan to see it again on Saturday and I'm looking to it just as much as the first time. Maybe more.
