    A dumb computer question .....

I got a stupid computer question that I should be able to figure out on my own, but i'm coming up blank ......
It's been doing this for a few months now and i'm getting sick of it.

I'm using the lastest version of windows (the one after ME) and IE

Question:, how do I make my windows come up automatically full screen ?
I used to be able to stretch them manually (or use the button on the top right)--- and they'd stay fullscreen forever, even after a shutdown ....
Any window I then open is always full .....
Today though, something happened and it doesn't work anymore ....
The windows do stretch and the buttons work --- but when I close the window and open up a new one, it's still tiny.... until I stretch it again.

I know it's something easily corrected, but I just can't put my finger on it

Yes, click view tab at top and then full screen or f11 on your keyboard.

Edit. Never mind. Just re-read and my suggestion wouldn't work, in this case.

Try the suggestion here. I did it and it worked.

IE window wont stay maximized? - PC Pitstop Forums

Or just switch to Firefox and kiss a lot of problems good-bye (at least that has been my experience).

              Damn, Dave --- YES !!!

How did you remember that ?????

              I totally forgot

              Update .......

              I got it,

A bud emailed me and told me what to do ..... It worked

              --------------

              One more question ........

For the last few weeks, for some reason my computer has been refreshing on it's own --- about every 3-5-ish minutes (with no actions done by me) .....

I don't really care, but it strikes me as rather odd....

Anyone know why this might be happening ?
