we saw Gordon Lightfoot last night. he appeared very frail. he's rail thin. he had a guitar in hand for every song but some of them he was barely moving his hands to play and as Brian said his voice is not the same. guy is 83 and still playing though so god bless him.
show was decent and I am very glad to have had a chance to see him live because looking at him i suspect this is likely his last tour

To me anyway, it seems like when The Eagles got back together for their 'He** Freezes Over' tour, that's when the price of tickets really started getting crazy.Leave a comment:

never got to see Waters live. i did see Gilmour led Floyd on the last 2 tours they did.
I just got tickets to see John Cafferty and the beaver Brown band. Looking forward to the show. I have really missed live shows the past few Covid years. I am at the point where io am willing to spill out some bucks to get to see some of these artists as they are all retiring or dying off and i want to see them before they doLeave a comment:

Went to see Roger Waters back in the day ---1999
Was billed as his last concert EVER
Amazing, he played lead guitar as good as Dave Gilmour !!!
Tour was so popular it was called ROGER WATERS IN THE FLESH and was made into a new tour a year later and an albumLeave a comment:

tickets started skyrocketing in the late nineties i think. I saw the Who on their 25th anniversary in '89 and tickets were like $30. Floyd and McCartney were around the same in that period. Now McCartney seats, even the nose bleed seats, are hundredsLeave a comment:

I hear ya, saw most of the classic rock bands from 1976 - 1990 for under $15.00
Saw the Rolling Stones in 1981 for $22, lol and that was lower side.Leave a comment:

i'm going to see Christopher Cross in early September too, at a small venue. It's a great place to see shows and you can take photos and videos. Bringing all 3 of my (adult) kids with us to this showLeave a comment:
