      There's no such thing as buyer protection on Craigslist...that's why all my transactions are carried out locally and in person.

        Great service. Been usin' 'em for years.

        Wouldn't call them "honorable"---although possibly "the opposite of Ebay"
        as they ARE two pretty different services after all.

          i've heard some stories where the seller has an expensive item to sell and when they meet the buyer, the buyer jacks them and takes off with the stuff at gunpoint.

            Holy crap!! That could easily happen

            The only bad stories I've heard besides the usual scams,was that girl that got a date on there and she was found dead in Cali
