Trip to Santa Barbara

We had Good Friday off, so decided to visit beautiful Santa Barbara. Wanted to share a few pics.

Found a restaurant that served local Red Abalone.



Headed out back home, with the Pink Moon to guide us.



Cleaned up the Abalone Shells with some Mineral Oil.

Was that abalone ceviche?

They were dredged in flour then sautéed in a butter caper sauce. Delicious.

Wow that's a beautiful view. I'm glad you can get out and smell the roses (so to speak) Beauty in is our backyard we just have to go out there and find it.
