problem viewing pictures in posts

Any idea why I cannot seem to see the fine pictures folks are posting up sometimes?
This seems to only happen on my laptop browser. If I look at the same thread on a phone or tablet, I can see the pics.

Is there some sort of setting I need to adjust, or is it just my antiquated machinery having conflicts with this new, modern, social media world?

I can't see some of Mark's custom figures. Thought it was my ancient home browser but I can't see them on my newer versions either - PC user.

I am not a computer guy at all but could it be your browser? Have tried switching Chrome or Firefox?

It is Firefox and on a Mac. Older cpu tho, so it may have something to do with that
