I don't usually make RIP Posts, and I was hoping someone would have, but since that didn't happen on 3/13...RIP William Hurt. A very talented actor. Loved him in The Big Chill, The Doctor, The Accidental Tourist and my all-time favorite Hurt movie: Body Heat. If you haven't seen this movie, please do. You got Hurt w/stash, a young Ted Danson, a SMOKIN' HOT Kathleen Turner and Mickey Rourke's first real intro. This scene also features Bob Seger's "Feel Like a Number"

I thought about it doing it but I just never did. Hurt was like wallpaper. He seemed to be in everything. I loved Altered States. I wish he had done more Sci Fi or Fantasy but he was General Thunderbolt Ross and Captain John Robinson.
