Anybody here like Jersey Mike's hogies ???

Hey, i'm Jersey Mike too !!!

Anyway, one just moved into a strip mall by me

Took over a formal Cicis pizza (thank God)

Went online to look at the menu and was not impressed … reminded me of Subway's overpriced bread infested Hogies.

Would most likely still rather get a Hogie from a local Mom and Pop Italian pizza place

    What do you think ?

I do. First I think they are overpriced but the past couple times I bought some sandwich with roast beef turkey and ham and thought it was really good and tasted really fresh. On the other hand I will never buy subway again. I ordered a teriyaki chicken one time the girl takes out the chicken sniffs it then shrugs her shoulders and makes my sandwich. We have decent subs at my place of work I am a baker and we bake the hoagie buns for our prepared foods department. My favorite there is the club on multigrain with horseradish mayo.

Had a steak and cheese there once and thought it was very good. Not one too close to me so I haven’t been there again.

Nearest one is in New Hartford NY. Never been. There are better sub shops over in Utica.

Sorry Mr. Rockefeller, not everyone can afford to rent out a Cici's Pizza for an hour

I like Jersey Mike's. They have a nice variety of cheese steaks. The cold subs aren't much different than what you'd get at WaWa, assuming there's one by you as that's in the same region as Jersey Mike's.

I've never been, even though there's a bunch where I live.

Maybe I'll try it today, gotta kill some time today since a power outage disabled the air compressors in our shop.

Is that where you also get your steamed hams?

Between the big 3 in my area Wiches (later rebranded as woodchips bbq) , Firehouse subs and Jersey Mike's. Jersey Mike's were my least favorite but even they weren't bad.

It's one of my favorites, I also like Firehouse Subs. I probably will be having Jersey Mikes today as a matter of fact. It is kind of pricey, but is always good in my opinion.

I prefer Firehouse Subs but Jersey Mikes is good too. At my old job we would get catering from them for big meetings.

Anyone ever have Potbelly Sandwiches? They have a few in Louisville. I think I like them best of all. Wish they'd move to my area of KY, at least in Georgetown or Lexington.

My biggie is the roll (bread) itself.

I want a nice Jewish Kaiser Roll consistency (chewy on the inside, crunchy on the crust).

The roll WILL make or break the sandwich

Subway, …… Your rolls are WAY too soft and mushy ...
