Sad to lose such a bright, positive person who gave much across the decades… and she loved animals too!

Even though she was cute and beautiful in her younger days, never thought of her as that...

More like an older sis/aunt that I was glad her doing her stuff - and keep making money

      RIP...

BTW, for a laugh search for Odd Couple Password with Betty White and Allen Ludden …

      Funny stuff

I very sad way to end the year, she would have been 100 in a couple of weeks.

She’s been on television for over 60 years, I real icon, she will be missed by many.

This now makes 4 actors from the Mary Tyler Moore show to pass away in 2021, I think Betty White was the last surviving member.

I loved her as Sue-Ann Niven, and I enjoyed Golden Girls and Hot in Cleveland as well. So funny, RIP.

Aside from her brilliant acting (Golden Girls was fantastic), she was one of the best game show contestants of all-time! She was a super, super smart woman! Whether it was "$25,000 Pyramid, or "Match Game," she was just phenomenal! Interesting to note, there have been only three shows in TV history where the entire cast won an Emmy award. "All in the Family" was one show. "Golden Girls" was the second show. I cannot remember the third show.

That was my first thought, too. I think the entire main cast is now gone. 2021 took Cloris Leachman, Gavin McCloud, Ed Asher, and now Betty White. Also, Allan Burns who was co-creator of the MTM Show.

                  RIP to a showbiz legend.

I doubt many people from this era will have the career longevity Betty had.

James Dean was like 20 years old (when he died)

He/Is became an icon --- Don't ask me why

Betty White was here to see everything

When I saw Spider-Man: No Way Home in the theater, there was an ad for a Fathom Event celebrating White's upcoming 100th birthday. The documentary is still going to run in theaters, but will now serve as a remembrance in addition to being a celebration. Sadly, she didn't quite make it to that milestone the documentary promised.

Join the celebration of Betty White's life and career in 'Betty White: 100 Years Young.' Experience her classic moments on screen and hear heartfelt tributes

Dean became an icon precisely because he died young. We have no idea how his career would have progressed and angst only carries one so far. White had a lifetime of work and charity to define her. The two aren't comparable.

it was an awful way to end an awful year. Even though she did have a very good and long life, i was still so sad. she was such a beloved person, the world over. her agent said she was happy to be rejoining her husband who she lost many years ago. RIP
