    My favorite Monkee.

I kick myself for not seeing him and Mickey down in Tennesse back in October. I was thinking about it, but didn't due to Covid surges.

Wow! This is so sad. The Monkees were my first favorite band. They were even the first album I bought with my own money. It was a best-of collection you could only order by mail, produced by a company called Laurie House. That commercial was alike a siren call, pulling towards a money order I sent off before my 4-6 week wait for delivery. When I started buying vinyl again, this was one of the first albums I re-bought. I'd later switch my favorite band to KISS and their cereal box-like albums with surprises inside, but the Monkees will always be my first.

        WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.

An amazing talent who was highly underrated, unfortunately because of the Monkees. I'm glad I got to see him perform live with Micky back in in 2019.

sad news. I'm playing the Monkees now in his honor. I had hoped to get to see him with Mickey on the farewell tour but also skipped it because of Covid. I really believe they were all underrated because of the show. they all were talented. Mike and Peter in particular

I echo the statements of those who said Nez was their favorite Monkee, because he is my favorite as well.

He was a great talent, and he dabbled in so many areas (music, acting, video & film-making, writing, Philanthropy). The world has lost a great entertainer. And he was less than three weeks away from his 79th birthday (12/30/21). I hope his passing was a peaceful one.

I was so happy to have met him a few years ago at Steel City Con. Also around that time I bought his First National Band albums off of Amazon.( I recommend listening to " I just begun to care" Its actual title eludes me at the moment) I have also met Peter and Mickey too( but never Davy). To me, he was warm, funny and I loved his voice and his work. Also at the time of the con a few months before he had quadruple bypass surgery so it was a blessing to see him. Was a pioneer of MTV and his mom invented liquid paper RIP Papa Nez thank you for the wonderful music and laughs.

Think I remember him producing and doing the soundtrack for the 80's Sci-Fi movie Time-Rider.

Cool mostly forgotten movie these days.

Made well BEFORE Back to the Future.

Bad guys see him and want "his machine"

                      RIP

If I remember correctly (been a long time since I saw it last), he produced and co-wrote the movie, and even has a cameo.

                          Just re-watched it last night.

                          It's on YouTube (decent video).

Never realized how boring it actually was.

No disrespect to Mike, but a two-dollar screen-writer could have come up with something more entertaining than what we got.
