Is Mannix the Model for Action Jackson?

So METV has been playing Mannix as I take my lunch break at work. Tonight had him driving an F1 style race car despite having no other racing experience I had seen. Episodes featuring his history in Korea and as a college football player, skydiving and skiing scenes... a lot of crossover really.

That's cool, if they did, that is something.

I prefer Cannon, though, but he wasn't into the same kind of sports and activities.

He could cook up some really good food when not driving his Lincoln, or doing detective work.
