Do stay. . .on occasion pop in. This site is more than electronic people providing random responses for your amusement. . .or occasionally frustrate you. The people here are real. . . and the feelings expressed are genuine.

I know that when significant things have happened in my life. . .it was often here that I wanted to come, to share those parts of my life. . .sad and happy. And some of the people here I count as some exceptional friends. . .a big part of my life. . .even when I have been gone for a long time.

Folks here, care and remember, and together we share parts of our lives. . .so nothing has to be final. . .take a break as many here have (especially including myself), and come beack for a chuckle or a laugh occasionally. . .or share when some thing special happens in your life (good or bad).

I hope that you do reconsider and pop your head in occasionally. I have met some of the nicest people I know here on the board. Best wishes to you and your family.

Well, I was going to say best wishes and all, but if you're staying, then welcome back.

To me, this site is not about the toys. I can buy the toys without coming here and hanging out. It's always been about the people. Just some folks to talk to with common interest, be they toys, TV shows, whatever. If you want to see what it's really about, make a Megomeet. You'll see then that the toys are not the main purpose for being here.

Maybe there is more to this website than just collecting toy figures. Maybe I didn't consider the fact that I may have touched and been touch by real human beings (you guys) that I affectionately call "megoheads". I think you all are awesome!!!!!! I think I will give this some more thought and reconsider my decision.

Good to see that you are reconsidering. It will be a sad day in Ape City when we lose another ape fanatic.

Carm, you and I have had a few run ins but now we are buds. I would genuinely miss your wit and humor on the boards. I don't like to see any of my friends leave and you are a friend.

Yeah, Carm, you could stick around just for the chat. I sold alot of my Megos this past year to make ends meet, but I still hang out here a little bit 'cuz I likes to exchange opinions with folks who share my interests/hobbies.

No! Don't go! I mean, I realize that we don't even know each other, but anytime someone leaves the team, it's a loss for everyone. I understand that things change, but it sucks to hear that you're leaving. We're losing a member of the Mego family. Good luck in whatever it is you seek. I wish you the best. And remember that the Museum is open 24/7/365. Come back anytime. We'll be here. And if you decide not to go, it's obvious that you're welcome to stay. I have to agree with DaveMc. It's not just the toys here, it's the people. I come back everyday just to hear from friends. You should too. Don't leave. And if you're staying, thanks for reconsidering. I'm rambling. But it's from the heart.

This is the only forum I've visited where people seem genuinely concerned about others. Where they exchange personal messages.
And that makes a huge difference. It's not just "sell me your figures for cheap".
Often, it's the best conversation I've had all day.
                            .
                            .
                            .
