Got the 4 networks from Peoria and also picked up channel 9 and 32 from Chicago, and an assortment of channels from the Quad Cities Iowa. Dad had a 50 foot aerial with a rotor.

      Remember PIX PIX PIX !!!!?
Kids on a call-in to channel 11 playing a video game LIVE
There was something similar around here with a weird little animated host of an afternoon show called "Clubhouse Pow" if I remember correctly...
Kids would call in and say "Pow" every time they wanted to shoot.

I used to watch a variation of that called "TV Pow", hosted by Ranger Bob and Gooby.
(The video game was provided by Mattel Electronics and was a variation on the Intellivision game "Space Battle".)

I'll just say that after turning the hard plastic dial to UHF, and it making a series of solid thumping noises along the way, Captain Pitt swam and swam...
