We went to see RESPECT this afternoon, and we enjoyed it very much. An excellent performance from Jennifer Hudson, and one of the better biopics I have seen. If you're a fan of Aretha, Gospel, Soul, or spiritually fueled music in general, I think you will enjoy this film.
While not an actual hardcore fan of her work, I find her amazing vocal talent incredibly moving. That, combined with the fact that she was such a huge inspiration for Freddie Mercury, made this a must-see for me.
