In Search Of you favorite Unsolved Mystery of the 70s?

I have this sitting on my desk. This is from when I was in 2nd grade(written on the inside cover).

I probably got it from one of those Weekly Reader book club things. It was always a favorite of mine.

Not monster related at all, but the Curse of Oak Island always interested me basically from the first time I was aware of it. I like watching the Curse of Oak Island show, but wish they would find something

I remember going to the movie theater with my Grandma, and we saw this documentary-type movie on Bigfoot. It felt like an episode of "In Search Of" but it was a movie. That was many decades ago, so I don't remember the name, but I think it could've been this one:

For so long, I had a vague memory of Bigfoot smashing his hand through a window but couldn't remember where it came from. After asking a few people here, they filled in the blank that was this this movie!

I think In Search Of helped a lot of us 70’s / 80’s kids with our fascination with this stuff. The Bermuda Triangle was another one that fascinated me.

I even had the board game! Was there a Bigfoot or Nessie board game?
