I caught the intro of Van Halen’s Dreams and realized I always crank it. That might be my favorite intro song from my youth. Thoughts? What do you love and crank when you hear it?

"Papa Was a Rolling Stone" is an outstanding choice.
I can't find the quote, but one of the Temps said that he kept waiting for his cue to begin singing, but the intro kept on going.... Is this my cue? Nope the strings come in here. Now? Nope, this is a horn part. And so on...
It started to get him angry and frustrated... and then all that emotion got released in the vocals. It put that little bite in "It was the 3rd of September".Comment

Gosh! So, so many!
To name a few off the top...
Somebody To Love & Tie Your Mother Down - Queen
Detroit Rock City & Heaven's On Fire - KISS
Hotel California & One Of These Nights - Eagles
The Chain - Fleetwood Mac
Sympathy For The Devil - The Rolling Stones
Stranglehold - Ted Nugent
Radar Love - Golden Earring (Twilight Zone too!)
Carry On Wayward Son - Kansas
September - Earth, Wind & Fire
Love Rollercoaster - Ohio Players
Girls, Girls, Girls - Motley Crue (Irregardless of the subject matter, this one is infectious even for this ol'...umm...nevermind)
...and an honorable shout out to Vincent Price and Alice Cooper's intro to The Black Widow.Comment

Agreed! Sooooo many songs require an instant volume up!
When the Levee Breaks - Led Zeppelin
Rhymin' & Stealin' - Beastie Boys
Out of Control - Lime Spiders
Rock n' Roll All Night - KISS
Use Me - Bill Withers
Blitzkrieg Bop - The Ramones
Young Man Blues (live) - The Who
Search & Destroy - The Stooges
But I'll post the video to the one that's making me crank the volume right now. This guy is actually a busker who finally recorded some of the songs he's been playing around London-
