    Greetings plastic pleasure hoarders.

My name is Joe and I am new on these forums. This site seems really neat and I look forward to all the good times ahead. I basically started collecting Space 1999 vintage Palitoy about a few months ago after sinking into a state of nearing age 40 with a 2 year old and one on the way.

During the day, I work as a school social worker for the cleveland school district. Just crazy but love it.

I need Mysterious Alien and Zantor to complete my vintage collection. I do have the Mattel version complete and the complete new repros with all variations.

Did they make a Lost in Space Mego??

Anyways, I look forward to making new friends, laughing the stress of life off, and finding good deals on this site. Oh, I also need cards for I see this is one of the benefits of having friends.

    My best,

    Joe

G'Day and welcome Joe. Nice to meet ya!

Space1999 Huh. . .how did you come to have that as your introductory line? Was S1999 that big in the USA?? Good luck on your hunting.

Seriously. Out of all the space shows of my time. S1999 was the most visually and mentally stimulating out of all of them. I also collect Mid-Century furniture/space age, and for those who have any clue to the several uses of space age modern furniture in these shows it outstanding. I tend to enjoy the emotions contrived as the use of open space and color on white evoke thoughts of purity. I could go on...but you would say that I was absolutely crazy. I also have a crush on Miya (sp?). Ok, picture her change from a blond to a red head and then to a well lubricated firm catchers mitt.

No, but I'd bet that somebody out there in "customs land" made them...

perhaps he uses tea as a diversion while he pinches a loaf? He REALLY DOES NOT MOVE FROM THERE.

Hi Joe welcome to the forum. Space 1999 was indeed a great show. I myself have a great fondness for Eagles. I feel so cheated that 1999 came and went and as of 2008 we still have No moon bases.
