Who's BBQing today???

I don't know what the neighbors are going to be setting up...

But I personally have 30 pounds of marinated ribs ready to go, four whole chickens, and ten pounds of freshly-made ceviche.

Oh, and lots of beer...and four bottles of tequila.

Sweet! Were qing tomorrow. Little less than you but 12 lbs of babybacks and a lot of chicken. Some jumbo shrimp too. What did you marinate your ribs in?

I marinated the ribs overnight with freshly squeezed orange juice, beer, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, black pepper, and sea salt.

Then I dry rubbed them with those same powder spices again about an hour ago.

Just got back from my inlaws. BBQ ribs, beans, slaw, deviled eggs BBQ Vidalia onions, Watermelon and Sweet tea. MMMMMMM MMMMMMMM GOOOOOD!

Anyway I planned on BBQing today but we've been hit with rain most of the day. No big loss because I pretty much grill every weekend anyway. I may treat myself to a nice dinner out tonight.

Had about 40 people here since 1:00. Still about 18-20 floating around. First chance I've had to get away from the crowd. Did the basic hamburgers and hotdogs, and some marinated chicken and ribs as well. Nothing too elaborate. Had to build an addition to the deck last week cuz they said it might rain so I built a covered 10 x 12 expansion off the existing 12 x 16. Got plenty of room now, and the rain never came. got dark a couple of times, but no water. Was actually a pretty good day. Not too hot or too cold. Hope everyone else had a great 4th.

i barbequed today had steak chicken hot dogs saugies hamburgers chicken and assorted salads and deserts. it was good rained here in the morning but then cleared up. it was good. hope everyone had a god day also. mike

We canceled at the last minute...one of our buds, the one with the big SUV...wimped out on us (he claimed he got sick, yeah right)...so we stuck around and went ahead and BBQ instead.
