I always thought the same thing for Bella, Lon Chaney Jr etc …

If they were around today, imagine the buzz they'd get at attending conventions ....

I think he would have swayed into more directing work, and left acting behind for the most parts. He probably would have done the cons for fun.

And the greatest World's Finest team up with Batman and Robin in 66

Phyllis Coates is still alive and Jack Larson and Noelle Neil lived well into their 90's. The "Superman curse" didn't apply to the co-stars.

Reeves was a heavy drinker I don't believe he would've made it past the mid- 1970's . But yes he was well loved and remembered and wouldn't cleaned house during the early years of conventions. He actually loved
playing Superman and the rumors of him being ashamed of it are blown out of proportion.

I love George Reeves (forget about made-up Hollywoodland garbage)

If he really did die by his own hand I feel extra bad for him not having anywhere to reach in a world that loved him …

Today, he would have totally been a nerd convention autograph LEGEND …

What's more annoying is when you are watching something like Adventures of Superman and a family member walks by and says oh George Reeves he's dead. Thanks for the breaking news update

If I was a popular celeb … regardless of my personal feelings ……. i'd be kissing the public's behind no matter what.

If you were jackhammering an overfilled concrete column for a new sewer pipe (yes, I've been there) … would you complain if somebody wanted to hear you sing a song ?

I'm guilty of some of that, I thought Harry from night court gave off creep vibes when everyone else was waxing poetic about him. lol

I think with celebrities and notable social figures we have to keep in mind we don't know them personally. Even if you met them once or twice, everyone has good and bad days and how that treated you that day was part of that.

Trying not to speak ill-will of the dead but I remember him being kinda of an azzhole.

He wouldn't sing Raindrops at his concerts because he didn't wanna be pegged as a "one hit wonder"

Mr BJ, if you were THAT serious, why didn't you refund EVERBODY that came to your concerts to hear Raindrops live ?

Yea, I think he was an azzhole
