Every December 24th we throw out the previous year's tree in anticipation of the new tree's arrival on the 26th.
Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figures

It's because they're cheaper, after Christmas, you see.

Other traditions we have are opening one gift on x-mas eve. I did that as a kid and carried this on to my own kids.

Also as a kid our family ALWAYS watched Scrooge (the best one with Allistar Sim) every x-mas eve. Now, the tradition lives on not only with my family but also my brothers families as well.

I don't know if particular movies or TV specials count as quirky, but my mom always baked a homemade gooey butter cake for Christmas morning, and I've maintained that with my own family.

I do the same thing with Halloween candy, bags of candy are always cheaper after Halloween and I just save the bag till next Halloween.

I watch the He-Man and She-Ra Christmas special and listen to the Chipmunks Christmas album.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

                      "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn"

In the Southeast Pacific, lies the sunken city of R'Leyh. There lies C'thulhu waits to return to our world with the other Great Old Ones. A hideous creature of enormous size and alien power, it waits for it's time to return patiently. For it has all the time in the world while it waits for the stars.
