I was already pumped to see this film but after I read the review Rolling Stone gave (following an early screening) I am excited beyond words. Sounds like a masterpiece!!!

This is going to be the mother of all comic book movies, I'm so sure of that.

        I'll tell ya---I love Batman---but I'm a bigger Joker fan---
if this movie is highly successful---I'm happier for the Joker as a character
as he doesn't get as much of an opportunity as his nemesis to prove himself
on the bigscreen----due to Batman being the franchise title guy and all!

              So....

Why is Batman riding Judge Dredd's Lawmaster in the ad?

                Awesome review, thanks for sharing.
I'm jazzed about this movie, one of those "can't wait" feelings rather, than "sure I'll see it" kind of a deal.

Soo how do you know that future Lawmaster cycles were not based on a undisclosed (Wayne industeries )Prototype?

Is there any way to sum up the vibe of the review in this thread?

I don't really like to read reviews before I see a movie if I don't have to.

I'm not looking for an essay guys---just a sentence or two about what about the movie
was so appreciated by the RS reviewer.

Ok huedell...here a choice part of the Review:

"It's enough to marvel at the way Nolan, brings pop escapism whisper-close to enduring art. It's enough to watch Bale chillingly render Batman as a lost warrior, evoking Al Pacino in The Godfather II in his delusion and desolation. It's enough to see Ledger conjure up the anarchy of the Sex Pistols and A Clockwork Orange as he creates a Joker for the ages. Go ahead, ***** about the movie being too long, at two and a half hours, for short attention spans (it is), too somber for the Hulk crowd (it is), too smart for its own good (it isn't). The haunting and visionary Dark Knight soars on the wings of untamed imagination."
