Hit and Run

I drive a blue 1998 Jeep Cherokee.
I was traveling down Oakhill in Janesville, crossing Memorial. A young adult with light colored hair wearing a white cap driving an older gray and very loud truck clipped my jeep.

By the time I spun around to catch his name and number he fled the scene. Fortunately he left a nice paint scrape on my door.


There were witnesses that saw him fled the scene and so everything is covered that way. I took a police report and they are looking for the guy. I am going to assume he probably lives in that area because he literally disappeared off the face of the Earth when the cops began sifting through the area.

I can't believe this crap. I just bought this jeep about three weeks ago!!!
I wasn't injured (Some of you on here are probably disapointed with that one).


This punk kid can't get too far! He has a big dent in his driver's side! His gray paint from his truck are left in the dent in my jeep.

On a bit of a side note, I truly doubt anyone here wishes you were hurt. That is not only a sad thing to say or think (even with a smiley), but disrespectful of your fellow members. This is not "the other place". No one cares that you have "demon" in your name, have long hair or play in a metal band. Get over this persecution complex, its gotten a bit old, and frankly, you just don't come off as all that extreme.

Glad to hear you are ok....that looks like more than just a clip, he really nailed you.

Did the witnesses see the license plate number? If so, they will find him unless the car was stolen.

Chances are the driver did not have a license, was uninsured, already had a warrant out, or was either drunk or strung out on drugs. Most people don't just flee a scene unless there is another underlying reason.

I do think that your insurance company will cover you 100% and not charge you for the accident if the person is never found if there is a silver lining to the story.
