A great, great actor. So many unforgettable portrayals.
Everything from The Seventh Seal to The Exorcist, Flash Gordon, Conan the Barbarian, Dune... right up to recent productions like Star Wars and Game of Thrones.
He elevated anything he appeared in. (He was great in Judge Dredd and Strange Brew, too.)
A true master of his craft.

I just watched Flash Gordon yesterday in between naps.

I loved him in "The Exorcist." No doubt, he reprised his role in the sequel for the paycheck! That was one of the worst sequels ever -- worst films, period!

Seemed like such a cool guy. So versatile too. I'll remember him from his genre work in (obviously) Flash, but also Dune, Dreamscape, and of course the Exorcist.

I thought it was neat they shoehorned him into Force Awakens.
