I am first and foremost a devoted DC fan. When it comes to Marvel, WHY, WHY , WHY is it that the titles I like don't make it?! The Incredible Hulk and the
Fantastic Four! No wonder I'm a DC fan!!!

I felt the Incredible Hulk was an excellent movie. It was far better than the Ang Lee movie could ever dream of being. I can understand losing to Get Smart for first place, but losing second place to Kung Fu Panda?! Puleeeze!!!!
Then again, I don't have kids, so I can be a scrooge.
Edward Norton made a far better Bruce Banner than Eric Bana ever could. And the Hulk looked far better and more like the comic as opposed to the Bana faced Hulk that grew too big. This movie had better nods to the TV series, with Bill Bixby on a TV channel, Lou Ferrigno had a better cameo, and there was a character by the name of Jack McGee. And as much as I love the music of Danny Elfman, he did a weird score for the Hulk movie. Craig Armstrong's score in this movie sounds more Hulkesque.
And I thought that both Fantastic Four movies were outstanding. And I mean both of them. I loved the cast and the special FX used to show their powers.
I personally think audiences were unforgiving when it came to the new Incredible Hulk movie. They probably thought it was going to be like the Ang Lee flick, so the new movie was prejudged. I saw this new movie 4 times in the same week.
Then again, there is absolutely no justice in this life.
      Cheers.

Sad I saw it a a few days ago and I liked it. It was much better then the first. Not as good as Iron Man or Hellboy 2 but a good summer movie none the less.

Would have loved to see what happened to Stan Lees character after HE got the Gamma infused Blood.

The Iron Man bit at the end was good. I thought there was going to be something else after the credits like Iron man had also. A little disapointed in that. They should have put the Iron man bit there. It was like a fan boy easter egg that was there just for us.
Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
                  Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.
In the halls of Valhalla where the brave may live forever.

They probably should have waited a few more years for the bad taste of the last Hulk film to fade away. I'm thinking the general moviegoer was unaware this wasnt tied to the Ang Lee flic, and stayed far, far away.

From what everyone is saying, ol' greenskin is going to be in the Avengers film anyways.

Worldwide, TIH has made close to what the Ang Lee film made... and it hasn't yet been released in Japan, which is a very superhero- and Marvel-friendly market. It will at least equal and probably surpass what the 2003 movie did. Since the first film was deemed successful enough to continue the franchise, it's likely this one will do the same.
