Today I kept hearing the most beautiful sound. It was the slightest little sound, a metallic 'ting' sound. It was like hearing glass snowflakes landing softly on frozen winter grass.
It didn't take me long to discover that it was the sound of my awesome new Mego keychain, courtesy of batmanmc. Since I carry my keys everywhere, and since I have eliminated all other ornaments from my keyring except for that beautiful brass souvenir, it was the sound of the keyring gently touching my keys as I walked. I pulled the keys out and as the keychain hung there, it swung lightly into my keys and I heard that wonderful sound again. This time, it was clearer and more beautiful. It was like a little windchime, only better. I stood there at work, alone, letting the keyring play it's simple and yet relaxing tone. All too soon, I would be interrupted and I had to put my keys away.
But all day I could hear that wonderful sound as I walked. And every time I heard it, it made me smile.
What's the point of all this? I just gotta thank batmanmc one more time for a wonderful and yet simple pleasure. My Mego keychain has rapidly become a treasured possession. Every time I hear that sound, it will remind me of Megos, of the Mego Museum, of batmanmc's generosity, and of all of my Mego brothers and sisters here at the Mego Museum. It's amazing to me that such a simple little thing can bring such happiness.
Thanks again, batmanmc, for putting a smile on my face and for your generosity.
