As some of you know i recently had a problem importing a replica Connor Macleod Katana into the UK, due to some new laws which came in at the start of April.
Yesterday i received my sword and I just wanted to say a public thank you to Ant, and his son, for helping me out.

BTW how did you get around the new laws??

Unfortunately Ant had to shorten the blade down to 49cm ( anything with a curved blade over 50cm in length will get seized by customs ), the only exceptions to this are genuine katana's over 50 years old or if you are a re-enactor or martial artist, even then you have to provide proof.

It still displays nicely in the scabbard though.
