Great burger tip: Go to Steak n' Shake, and get the 4 for 4 Classic Double meal. Get coleslaw as your 2nd side. Take the coleslaw and put it on the burger. I love slaw on burgers (if both are done well), and why Steak n' Shake isn't selling one this way, I'll never know. My wife did this a few months back and every time I go to Sn'S, I can't help but do it again.

Their tacos have a mystery pasty-looking meat (of sorts), but are tasty greasy good and cheap, .99 cents for two tacos, can’t be beat.

    Your mom knows what’s up...

I'm making my own tacos tonight! This thread has awakened a craving for meat, cheese and tortillas...

I think Taco Bell should start selling burgers and hotdogs just so that they can say, "hey" we can do it too.

Judging by the pics, the place does looks clean and well kept, but the pics of the food alone is making me sick to my stomach.

Well, I'm more of a pasta guy then a meat guy anyway, just safer on the old arteries

Well, considering that Burger King is the one selling tacos,it's bound to include burgers as well.

Any thread that can transmute from tacos to burgers is a good one. Best I've ever had:

    Five Guys
    HWY 55
Steak Shake(if you can find one)

I really can't think of their equal though I'd love to find some more options.

Not sure how this morphed into burgers, but Hector is dead on about In-N-Out burgers. Simply one of the best, freshest burgers you will ever have. My Cousin and Brother-in-Law were both born and raised in California; one moved to Florida and the other to Indiana and both are damn sure to hit up In-N-Out when they visit So. Cal. At the location by my home, there is always a ridiculously long line of cars at their drive-thru no matter what time of day.

the one I got was in the 5 buck meal bacon cheeseburger, patty was fried to a crisp like Steak and Shake used to do.

I really like DQ's Flamethrower burger. I usually get a 1/4 Pound version, because a half-pounder is just too much for me nowadays.
