Did anyone else use these school reading books ?

These books were used throughout the 70's at my K-8 elementary school.

For the most part every book represented the grade you were in - unless you were extra smart and moved on faster than the class into the next book.

Was wondering if they were used in other schools too ?

The titles are very nostalgic for me

Nope, and I was a hard core reader. I was reading at 3 or 4.
