Great numbers Hec! My dad (77 years old) started walking everyday a couple years ago, and he's so stubborn he's kept with it, even in Canadian winters. It's done wonders for his weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, etc. The dude had two heart attacks in his 40's, was diagnosed with liver cancer about 15 years ago and has almost beaten it (just a couple small spots at this point) but it seems like he'll live forever, daily walking has a huge impact!Comment

Just walk a little, take 20 minute strolls around the neighborhood...you’d be amazed at the results.
I also make a rule not to eat after 6pm (except air popped popcorn, I much on that while watching a late night flick)...except on my free day of course...
Thank for the kind words.sigpicComment

I started with walking on some trails we have in town. Did 3.5 miles every day and if I missed a day, for a good reason, I made sure I didn't miss the next day. I started feeling good enough to add some push-ups, pull-ups, and a good stretching routine. Now, I walk out and run back. Slowly but surely, I have gone from 230 lbs. to 180 lbs. The first 40 came off relatively fast. The last 10 was helped by not eating after 6 PM and skipping breakfast. I eat from noon to 6 PM. At age 50 I am back to the same size I was at 22 when I was extremely physically active and I didn't have to do anything extreme to get here. Just time and consistency. The "feeling good' benefits derived from even a little bit of change motivated me enough to have all the discipline I needed.Just walk a little, take 20 minute strolls around the neighborhood...you’d be amazed at the results.

Exactly! ^^^
I do the same thing...my eating window is from 12-6pm...except as I’ve said before, my late night snack of air popped corn, because I’m a night owl, and it goes great while watching a movie, ha.
You are right...the feeling good benefits outweigh the few minutes of that eating binge euphoria. You eat a huge greasy tasty meal, you enjoy and love it...but later on, you feel terrible. I prefer feeling good all day over being lethargic.
P.S. I don’t run, as I have some peripheral neuropathy on my legs/feet (long story).Last edited by Hector; Jan 30, '19, 1:49 PM.sigpicComment
