Hey guys,
Got a question for yous .......

First, my nephew (and his wife) just bought their first house not long ago ...

He's planning a big Independence Day July Fourth cook-out for everone.
It's kind of a house warming/Independence Day party.

He asked me what else he could make besides the usual Burgers, Dogs, Steaks and Chicken ....

In other words, some kind of meat, but tastie and unusual.... or at least normal meat but made different on the BBQ.
BTW, he cooks on charcoal.

Anyone have any idea's ?

We get some sausage patties (big ones) and cook them like burgers. Gotta be italian sausage patties though. Also brats are really good.

Are shish kabobs made with lamb meat only ?

Lamb is excellent when prepared properly. Like on the grill. Mmmmmm...baby sheep.
Maybe try some Bison or game meat, like elk, or deer. No hormones, and quite tasty. Bison can get a little pricy, but is excellent, healthy, and very American, if you want to stay patriotic.

There is alway ostrich and Emu meat. Maybe some nice Gator. Maybe some Quail .

shish kabobs are awesome down here,but you could make them with pork,chicked or what ever they call them Pinchos
