*Sigh* Never has there been a more PERFECTLY realized and designed car!

    Those lines are just... sublime!

Honestly, this car didn't even look half this sleek, wicked, and awesome in its original configuration as the Lincoln Futura.

To say that Barris' Batmobile design was truly "inspired" is a gross understatement.

A stunning achievement... especially for only three weeks worth of work! The ultimate classic.

I can barely put into words the EXCITEMENT that I would feel every weekday afternoon seeing this gorgeous black hot rod turning slowly on a turntable in the Batcave: The Batman and Robin slide down the Batpoles, and race toward their ride. They climb in and buckle up...

ROBIN: Atomic batteries to power. Turbines to speed.

THE BATMAN: Roger. Ready to move out.

The Rocket nozzel at the rear of the car blasts an enormous flame, and the car screeches out of the cave!!

Ooooohhh!! I get goosebumps just thinking about it.

You know I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mego toys. Lord KNOWS I do. But the toy Batmobile atrocity they released in '74 for 8 inch figures should NEVER have been allowed to stand!

It was an insult to one of the all-time most beautiful cars in automotive history. I even thought so back then as a 7 year old.
I... am an action figure customizer
