    Blazing Saddles Alternate Scenes

    Not sure how many people have seen these alternate scenes.

    I'm assuming if you're under 20 years old, you probably haven't seen them.
    Around these parts, the NYC metro area, these scenes would only appear on the WPIX channel 11 showings of Blazing Saddles in the late 70's and early 80's.

    I don't think were ever released on any of the VHS or DVD versions (not even as a special feature)

    Note:
    The first scene on the link is the "farting scene" ...
    I don't see much of a difference in that one beside not having actual fat sounds...

    Hold out for the rest of the scenes for a real treat

      Heck I knew there was a scene with Mongo in a well. Thought I was crazy, I've seen Blazing Saddles dozens of times since and never saw it again. I thought I imagined it

          I totally remember several of those scenes when it was shown on TV back in the day....& too have never seen them since.I have been in several arguements over the existance of these scenes over the years...sometimes even accused of making them up(for one reason or another,these discussions would come up whist drinking)but regardless.....

          My afternoon will consist of the sending of emails to these people!

                  Why in the world Hollywood doesn't include such scenes with every older movie is beyond me. They even did a 30th anniversary DVD of BS. Why not inlcude these and make it more special? I never bought that version, since I had the originals. Had these scenes been included, I would have!

                      These scenes probably first surfaced on the Network TV version. Most network TV versions of movies are so rare these days.

                      For instance, Carrie had alternate scenes used for the shower scene when aired on CBS. Most of the time, there are really fun re dubs for profanity on films that are now lost
