    Does anybody remember...

    ...colored and perfumed toilet paper? Way back in the 70's.

      Yes, you could buy whatever coordinated with the color your bathroon was. Pink, yellow, green, blue, all pastel versions... And beige.

        Oh, yeah... that stuff was everywhere! But honestly, I never really noticed its disappearance until you mentioned it now.

            I worked in the family grocery biz as a kid and definitely remember stocking the shelves with all the different colors they made back then. They were still making the colors into the mid-1980s when I was up to all that.

              Charmin smelled nice too. And I was buying blue TP through the early 90s.

                It was bad for the environment and people's health as i recall. You can't put chemicals on your no-no area.
