I think that I "tried" Spam "once" as a kid. It was real gross to me. In fact it still grosses me out when I pass it on the shelves in the store. I feel like throwing up inside my mouth every time I see it. Eww!!! Change the topic puhleeze. I would have to be beyond destitute and totally desperate before I will ever eat that stuff. SPAM... where'd they get that name? Is it a reference to the SPanish-AMerican war, in which the soldiers ate "bully beef" (canned meat, the first C-rations, was new then). More troops died in that war from food poisoning than from enemy bullets.

SPAM ... it's best with Cheez-Whiz and mayo on white bread. Have some buttermilk or Clamato juice to drink and some pork rinds on the side.
