Help! My copy of City of Death won’t play!

I put my DVD of Doctor Who: City of Death into my living room blu-ray player and got to episode 3 and it wouldn’t play. It struggled for a couple of minutes and then jumped to about 10 minutes into the episode.

So I tried again tonight with the blu-ray player we have in our bedroom. Same thing.

Both players are Sony, ones a slightly newer model than the other. And I’ve played my Who DVDs on them before.

Disc is clean, no scratches.

Anyone else had this issue?

Sounds like a bad disc.

I've ran into them before.

Return it for a new one ... if you can

Flip the Disc and tilt it in the light to see if you can see an air-bubble in the discs surface...if you do, there is nothing you can do but get a new one...but...

Sometimes...rarely though...I've been able to make a Copy of a Bad DVD on My PC that will play in My DVD/Blu-Ray Player.

if it has played okay before and there are no blemishes, scratches etc, try updating the players software
