A futile and stupid gesture- The National Lampoon movie

This showed up last night on netflix here and it's something I've really been looking forward to as a fan od Natlamp and David Wain movies.

It did not disappoint for me, Will Forte really carries this thing and Wain cleverly makes the movie the creators of Natlamp deserve.

this trailer is raw, so don't watch near kids or at work.

      I want to see this.

I used to get National Lampoon as a kid ......... For me at the time the occasional bare boobies is what drew me in

thanks again for the heads up on this Brian. Just finished watching it. I really liked it. Kind of sad really. I did not know much about the creator although do vaguely remember reading something about what happened

I've been waiting for this - and I finally got to watch last night. Loved it - well above my expectations.

Martin Mull was such a perfect touch too. (Stick through the credits.)

The doc from a couple of years ago, Drunk Stoned Brilliant Dead: The Story of the National Lampoon, is more than worthy of a watch, too. Currently Netflickable, at least in the US.

Yeah, definitely agree and much more factual.

I watched it over the weekend and really enjoyed it, Will Forte was great in this. And boy, Ed Helms did an awesome Tom Snyder impression.

I just watched the trailer and there was no mistaking Martha Smith as the tour guide. "Babs" is still "Babs".
