Yeah, it was unbelievable spooky...I'm not sure but I think we were the only couple there. We didn't see another living soul except for the lobby staff. We saw cars, but no people. I have so many unanswered questions though...like why did the activity start immediately at 3:00 AM? That was nearly six hours after we finished the tour. I know 3:00 seems to hold some special significance, but why? And it's not even 3:00 everywhere...what about different time zones? It's all very strange. I just can't make sense of any of it.

Freaky indeed. Silly question... did you check under the bed? If your arm was dangling like that... I mean, could someone have been under the bed. Trapdoor? Now I'm asking Scooby Doo style questions, but trying to rule out logical explanations.
Could the staff of the hotel be messing with you? They know why you're there, what kind of experience you're looking for. Could they be providing their own spin on an augmented experience?
Of course, none of my questions get at the earring movement.
I would love to know if other guests have stories, or how the staff would respond if questioned.Comment

Damn Dwayne. First you encounter Sasquatch as a kid, then your house goes Amityville on you, and now you get a tugjob from a dead girl. A lesser man would have checked into Bellevue by now.You are transparent; I see many things... I see plans within plans.Comment

I'm inclined to agree w/ the trap door under the bed answer. I mean, there had to be a reason why the tour guide said that Samantha was a very active ghost. This is something they probably do to all of the guests, (whether you asked her to visit your room or not). "Samantha" was probably a little person (midget) who climbed up through the trap door and reached for your hand. As for the displacement of items, again trap door, and the same little person very adept in creeping around guests rooms while they're sleeping moved stuff around. And any of the staff could have knocked on your door to scare you. It sounds more to me like some very elaborate Halloween prank."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."Comment

LOL...no I don't think our house is haunted. It's been very quiet for a long time now. Just new house noises we weren't used to. Also, we live about half a mile from the high school and discovered that music carries over here from the marching band. It's very faint, but it can sound quite eerie sometimes, like voices moaning.Comment

That is a very interesting experience.
I don't think it was a prank. I don't know how they would be allowed to invade privacy.
And, if they played practical jokes often, wouldn't at least one guest secretly video record themselves while they are sleeping? Pranksters would most likely be caught.Comment

A very active imagination, especially at 3 or 4 in the morning can explain away a lot of stuff. Betting there's a logical explaination for it all ( tho I couldn't tell you what it is). Sorry you guys were freaked out. You probably gave that poor little ghost girl a serious complex. 😉Check out my website: Megozine Covers - HomeComment

Even though i'm a reformed Atheist --- Was Roman Catholic growing up (yea, that would screw up anybody)
I've had my share of weird strange incidents that my modern Atheistic mind still cannot explain.
Because of this I totally believe your story and wont try and denigrate your experience with obvious scenarios we know aren't true.
That said i'm a huge follower of James Randi (see his videos on youtube)
So, i'm torn ---- but i'm kinda glad because it makes life more interesting not knowing anything for sureComment

At the risk of not seeing the forest for the trees I have to ask...
Is it just me or does anyone else find it extremely unusual that the entire staff left for the night?
I understand that this is a destination resort, not a Best Western on the side of the road accommodating people who are too tire to travel or on their way to something better.
But I can’t think of any example of overnight accomidations where the staff abandon their clients after a certain hour. Has anyone spent the night at a place like that?
I would think there would be some serious liability issues. Real or not, what if you had been so scared you had a heart attack?Comment
