To be fair, Sam Sherman (Adamson's partner) is a tremendous film fan, he worked for Warren during the heyday. He hired those guys purely out of love but yeah, they're not in good places. It's a really interesting movie to watch with Sam Sherman's commentary because it's insane how this got made.
A lot of Adamson's films are fly by night productions, filmed on end pieces and done especially for the cheap. Some good comes of this but it's drive-in cinema.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

You should be able to pick up the DVDs for next to nothing these days. I've upgraded a lot of my library but I think I sold them all, I'll check if i have any doubles.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

I have D vs. F on Blu-ray. Bought it as soon as it came out. I had vague memories of seeing it in the 70's but I was little and it was like some great work of cinema to a seven year old. LOLComment
