I just got a system sealed never used and a pile of likewise games, former sales samples again but I haven't a clue what to pay for them.

I think the game values depend on how obscure they are...the more obscure the better because it means less supply and usually will command higher prices."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

It's a 2600 and I'm assuming early games, no idea, he's bringing them over now. Also a boxed Intellivision system in there as well.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

The 2600 came in 2 versions. One had 4 switches and the other 6. The 6 switch version is harder to come by and more in demand. I picked up a boxed 2600 w/ 4 switches at a yard sale 3 years ago for $10. Most of the usual games go for around $3 each from what I've seen at collectable stores around me. I'm by no means well aquainted with this stuff but this is my experience with Atari.Comment

I've seen sealed in box specimens of the 2600 sell for anywhere between $40 and a couple hundred. There doesn't seem to be really set prices from what I've seen, plus I guess it depends on which year and version it is (6 switch woodgrain, 4 switch, 4 switch all black "Vader" model, the later 2600 "Junior" model, etc.) And as already mentioned, the boxed games usually go for about $3 and up. The ones that were really common, like Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Asteroids, etc., don't sell for too much because they were produced in such large quantities. The more obscure ones like "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" that were produced in low numbers by small comanies are the ones who command high prices the most.
Anyhow not sure this helped but that's all I can tell ya. Unfortunately I don't know much of anything about Intellivision stuff.Comment

I have 180 games for my Atari 2600 and I have the sleek black and silver console. (I used to have the woodgrain, but I sold it.) If the Flash Gordon game is included in your set, than I would like to buy that one. Or any pre-school games that used the large button controller for little kids. I have 3 games for it, but I'd take more. Also any Xonox double ended games.
