Mike McDonald makes my ears hurt. I can't understand half of what that guy is singing in any song. "Sweet Freedom" is a prime example. He sounds like he's whistling through a mouthful of marbles.

When I was a kid there were alot of songs that I had a really hard time understanding. Now that I'm older and have heard the songs a thousand times I understand the lyrics a bit better, but I still think of them as being kinda garbled...

But moreso than the After The Fire version, I first heard the FALCO version when I was really young, and the lyrics completely confounded me. It wasn't until a while later I realised he was singing 90% of it in German, haha! But being able to understand certain words and phrases that were in English just totally threw me off....
